WHAT IS IB?
The International Baccalaureate (IB) develops lifelong learners who thrive and make a difference.
The IB PYP (Primary Years Programme) marks the start of this journey. Children aged 3 – 12 are on the road to become active participants in their own learning and caring, culturally aware individuals. In the Primary Years Programme (PYP), students learn about and use knowledge, concepts and skills from a variety of subjects to explore six transdisciplinary themes and begin to develop the attributes of the learner profile.
Program of Inquiry (by grade level)
The aim of all IB programmes, PYP, MYP (Middle Year Programme), CP (Career-related Programme) and DP
(Diploma Programme) is to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.
