Nominations Needed: Jan Staff Member

It is time again to recognize two staff members for their excellent performance this month! This is a great way to show your appreciation for our dedicated team and showcases the incredible work they are doing. Nominations for Staff Member of the Month are accepted from anyone within the BCE community. Please use the google form or email BCEnominations@gmail.com to share why you are nominating a teacher or staff member. The winners receive a gift card to community partner The Butler’s Pantry as well as to their favorite store.

Lost & Found

Our Lost and Found racks are already filling up after our break. We have water bottles, hats, gloves, lunchboxes, and hair items included with coats and jackets. Please remind your student to check the lost and found racks and remember to label all items with your child’s name. As always, we appreciate your support!

Thank You Cougar Country!

Our cougar community came through! Thanks to your generosity, the Pledge for Paws fall fundraising campaign raised an impressive $44,435 with donations continuing to pour in! Your support helps ensure a thriving community through tutoring programs, online supplemental instruction, teacher grants, classroom supplies, communication tools, field trips, family events, and so much more. 

Congratulations to the top three grades with the highest participation! 

First place: Third grade (31.4%) – extra recess

Second place: First grade (29.5%) – pajama day

Third place: Kindergarten (29.1%) – Rice Krispie treats

Our BCE families are one of the many reasons our school is so special. Our sincerest thanks for making a meaningful impact on students, teachers and staff this year and beyond!
