Congrats! January Staff Members of the Month

Congratulations to our January Staff Members of the Month, Ms. Berry and Ms. Henry! Highlights from your nominations:

Ms. Berry (2nd Grade, Billingsville): “Ms. La Shyondha Berry really knows how to put lessons together! She looks at the standards, does research, and shares lessons with other teachers. Ms. Berry knows how to execute the lessons as well because first and foremost, she knows how to discipline with dignity and has EXCELLENT classroom management. You can walk into her room anytime, and you will see students paying close attention to her and following all of her rules and procedures.” And “Ms. Berry goes above and beyond day after day to support her students. She is kind, patient, inclusive and truly the best teacher we could ask for.”

Ms. Henry (EP, Cotswold): “Ms. Patricia Henry is a tireless teacher for our EP students. She is patient and knowledgeable. She caters to the needs of her students individually and does such an amazing job that she is often called upon for advice on a student after the student has advanced to the next school. She is truly one of our unsung heroes and has been for years.” And “As you walk down the hallway where her classroom is located, you can hear the students singing their little hearts out to the tunes Ms. Henry has selected to help them learn their content. If you look at her planning, she has different lessons for each of her students based on their individualized goals.”
