PTA DOLLARS AT WORK
Funding provided from the 2022-23 fundraising efforts helped provide the following back to our school:
Administrative Support:
- Welcomed staff back to school with themed T-Shirts
- Provided Start Up Funds up to $100 for each classroom teacher
- Hosted 12 appreciation events through the year, including Staff Appreciation Week in Feb
- Supply coffee needs throughout the year
- Treated our staff to holiday and year-end gifts
- Provide on-going support for staff during school events
- Recognized 16 individuals as Staff Members of the Month
- Teacher Grant Program
- Funding support for our connect teams throughout the year including PE special programming such as new Basketball, Soccer and Step teams
- Purchased student agendas and vital school supplies as needed
- Hosted 2 campus beautification events
Enrichment:
- Purchased BrainPOP subscription
- Co-host Reading Rocks Celebration
- Funded Friday Enrichment Clubs
- Hosted Scholastic Book Fair on the both campuses with a focus on every student receiving a book
- Active Men of Billingsville Cotswold (MOBC) teamed with National Junior Honor Society students in support of Rise Against Hunger by supplying over 3k meals
- Purchased Raz-Kids subscription for the 22-23 school year
- Sponsors HEART Math Tutoring
Events:
- Fifth Grade Trip to Camp Hanes with student scholarships / subsidies provided
- Field Trip Sponsorships
- Helped welcome Prospective and New Families to BCE: Open House, Beginner’s Night, K Popsicle Playdates and Tours
- Boys & Girls Choice Events in Fall and Spring
- Successful Cougar Carnival welcomed the most attendees to date
Capital Planning Contribution
- $22,0000 in new furniture for Media Centers on both campuses
- $6000 Walkie Talkies for Safety / Carpool
- $6000 new picnic tables at Cotswold
- New Water Fountain at Billingsville
