FUNDRAISING OVERVIEW
Billingsville Cotswold Elementary (BCE) is a special place, unique for its strong academic focus and dynamic community of teachers, staff, and families. However, Billingsville Cotswold would not be the amazing school it is without financial help.
PTA / SCHOOL PROGRAM SCHOOL FUNDING
BCE PTA programs and resources are primary funded from three sources: Pledge for Paws (direct-give 100% back to school), Boosterthon (portion of donations back to school), and Community Partners. Along with funds raised via Shop for Billingsville Cotswold (Corporate Rebate Programs) and Corporate Matching, the PTA strives each year to meet our annual goal and family participation level. While many public schools have faced major cutbacks and downsizing of critical programs and services, BCE has been able to keep fundamental and value-added programs that are part of our school.
JOIN THE PTA! MEMBERSHIP MATTERS
Joining the PTA is one of the many ways to support the education of your child. Your PTA membership allows you to have a voice in improving the educational environment of the children in North Carolina, giving you the opportunity to work with other parents, educators and community leaders statewide toward that goal. No required volunteer time needed. Beyond paying annual membership dues, however you choose to PTA is up to you.
TEACHER & STAFF DIRECT SUPPORT
Looking for a way to support our teachers and staff in and out of the classroom? Join the “BCE Volunteers Group” in Parent Square. Regular volunteer needs will be posted in this group throughout the year. Remember, registering as a CMS Volunteer https://www.cmsvolunteers.com/ speeds up your check-in process at school events, and creates a safe environment for our students.
