Shopping opportunities are available for all families on Tuesday, November 14, 5:30-7pm when all BCE families are invited for a Meet & Eat and IB 101 event (details to follow). The 2023-2024 SIT parent election is running through Oct 1. All parents, guardians and caregivers are encouraged to cast their vote for two new members via the form below. School Improvement Team Ballot HERE or in ParentSquare. Each member will serve a three year term.
Open PTA Leadership & Support Positions Available
PTA is gearing up for some fantastic events, and we would like YOU to be part of it! Open PTA roles:
- Yearbook Assistant: Help capture the best moments of the year, assist with design layouts and create lasting memories for our school community.
- Carnival Committee: Join the team behind the most exciting event of the year! Help plan and organize our carnival for a memorable experience.
- Tour Guides: Be the welcoming face of our school! Lead prospective families on campus tours of Billingsville and Cotswold at our Open Houses (Oct 17 5:30pm and Nov 2 9:30am). Also as needed throughout the year. Script and talking points are provided.
- 5th Grade Events: Help plan and coordinate an epic celebration for our 5th graders this spring, and then the Camp Hanes trip next fall. Perfect for 4th grade parents.

Classroom Volunteers Needed for IB Lessons
Looking for an easy, quick way to help in the classroom? Volunteer to read a book or lead a craft to reinforce International Baccalaureate character traits in your child’s classroom. 30-minute lesson plans are provided, simply gather your supplies and schedule the date with your teacher. Teaching experience is not necessary, and volunteers can alternate months, so you only teach once every few months. Click HERE to see if your child’s class still needs volunteers. Volunteer Tutors Needed 12:30-1:30 1x per week
Billingsville students eagerly await volunteer tutors! Games & onsite support provided. Volunteering with Heart Math Tutoring is a fun, effective way to make a difference by working one-on-one with students 1 hr/wk week. Heart provides a fun curriculum and an on-site Coordinator to ensure success. Tutors work with the same student each session to build confidence and math skills.
