CONGRATS TO OUR STAFF MEMBERS OF THE MONTH!

Congrats to Mrs. Garven and Ms. Woods, our February staff members of the month! To celebrate, each of you will receive a gift card to your favorite store and from local partner, The Butler’s Pantry. Your pictures are also posted in the office at each campus! Highlights from your nominations:

Mrs. Garven (Media): “With her knowledge of books, vibrant personality, and love for reading Mrs. Garven has brought an excitement to students in the Media Center. The students are captivated by her story time lessons that she creatively relays to them.”

Ms. Woods (5th grade teacher): “Ms. Woods does a terrific job teaching 5th grade! She now teaches literacy AND math and does an exceptional job doing both. She knows both contents well, and manages her classroom efficiently! Her students love her very much!”

Mrs. Fremgen (1st grade teacher): “Mrs. Fremgen does a marvelous job teaching 1st grade! She does a phenomenal job teaching literacy, math, science, and social studies. Her students are very well-behaved, and it is apparent that there is much love between both students and teacher!”

Ms. Catella (3rd grade teacher): “Miss Catella is an amazing teacher! She is loving and caring and my child loves being in her class. She really gets to know her students and their interests. Simply the BEST! Helpful, Communicative, and Understanding!”

DECEMBER STAFF MEMBERS OF THE MONTH

  • Mrs. Bridwell (2nd grade teacher): “Mrs. Bridwell is an engaging and compassionate teacher. She empowers her students to achieve in their own ways.”
  • Ms. Bowers (Counselor): “Ms. Bowers works hard every year on the Angel tree program in December, which is a gift to many families at our school!”

OCTOBER STAFF MEMBERS OF THE MONTH

Ms. Herring: “Mrs. Herring does everything she is supposed to do as a registrar, but goes above and beyond to do EVERYTHING else there is to run the front office. She truly deserves staff member of the month!”

Ms. Parsons: “Ms. Parsons is very loving and caring toward all her students. She takes the time to truly get to know her students and supports their learning. My child looks forward to seeing her every day!”

SEPTEMBER STAFF MEMBERS OF THE MONTH

Congrats to Ms. Coben and Ms. McKay-Carroll, our September Staff Members of the month! To celebrate, each will receive a gift card from the PTA and your pictures will be posted in the lobby.

Ms. Coben: “truly cares about her students’ well-being and development. She goes above and beyond to help our children adjust to kindergarten!”

Ms. McKay-Carroll: “goes out of her way to ensure students are learning the material and prepared. She’s been very helpful and supportive, helping students in any way needed and keeping parents well informed.”
